Well, I'm not saying anything new and feel free to disagree with me, but I'm not really concerned much about the farmers as I am with the players who bot. For the most part on Aria I dont see many farmers around and whenever I want a room in a catacomb I can usually get the farmers out of the room pretty easily who will just stand outside until I leave.

Its the 'players' that run bot groups that will come down and kill/harass you if you try to take over a room from their bots, and it is the 'players' who are in afk bot groups in hellbound who have all the gear/level and seem to talk the loudest about how great they are. For those who play on Aria, this does not only include RDogs who everybody loves to blame for everything but all clans (BOSS has had just as many accounts banned as every other large clan out there). I don't want to turn this into a 'which clan bots more' debate though.

The fact is if any GM would go to any high-level hunting area they will find bot groups (HB, MOS, FOG, Pagans, Varka, Ketra). Seems to me if there was random checking in any of these locations at random times that the GM's would always be able to find bot groups (I certainly can). Do not announce or show yourselves at all if possible. I have seen so many times where somebody says in clan that there is a gm online and you see this mass disconnect or people porting to town to stand there all day. Those are the people who need the hammer most, the smug ones who think they can get away with it.

As for the page listing banned toons, the Q&A said you were considering it. It might not make any difference to the people who bot, but it would help the rest of the community see that you guys are in fact banning people all the time, something that isn't easy to spot sometimes.

I would much rather see a lvl 85 fully geared/epic'd hero toon banned than 50 chinese farmers...just my opinion though.
